Banca Intesa employees donated New Year presents

For the fifth consecutive year Banca Intesa has carried out a traditional volunteering campaign named “Wrap A Gift, Coax A Smile”, which included preparation of over 1,200 New Year presents for children without parental care and to young people with disabilities in five towns in Serbia, worth around 1,200,000 RSD.

For the upcoming year of 2014, Banca Intesa employees have brought joy to the wards of seven institutions for special education and to the beneficiaries of three centers for children without parental care in Belgrade, Veternik, Kraljevo, Užice and Vranje by bringing them some sweets, toys, school accessories, personal hygiene products and other interesting things.

New Year presents were handed out by the Bank’s employees dressed as Santa Clauses and the presents were given to children of Primary School “Dušan Dugalić“ from Belgrade, Primary School “Sava Jovanović Sirogojno“ from Zemun, Special Primary School „Novi Beograd“ and School for children with disabilities “Ivo Lola Ribar“ from Kraljevo. Also, prior to the New 2014 Year, Banca Intesa has brought joy to the children with special needs from Belgrade Kindergarten “Venčić” and to the wards of centres for children without parental care “Veternik” in Novi Sad suburbs, “Petar Radovanović” from Užice and “Moša Pijade” and “Drinka Pavlović” from Belgrade. New Year presents have also been given to the children with special needs and to beneficiaries of the “Centre for development of local welfare services Vranje” from that town.

Volunteering campaign “Wrap a present, entice a smile” is always carried out by Banca Intesa before every New Year, since 2009, within the program of corporate volunteering dubbed “Intesa from heart”.
