New Intesa Sanpaolo branch opens in Warsaw

As of the 1st of March Intesa Sanpaolo’s branch in Warsaw began its activity, substituting the Management Office, open since 1997. The Group thus strengthens its presence in Poland through the consolidation of its international network – which sees the opening of new branches and the reinforcement of existing structures – in order to support Italian companies operating abroad (both SMEs and larger corporates), favour greater interaction with local and international target clients and support foreign trade between the two counties.

The branch will offer a wide range of services including corporate banking, trade export finance, structures export finance, management of local and international payments, cash management, products for treasury management, liquidity, interest rates and foreign exchange. The close cooperation with Banca IMI, the Group’s investment bank, will also guarantee a number of innovative and specialist solutions of structured finance and project & infrastructure finance.

The Warsaw’s branch will report to the London hub which also manages the branches located in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Madrid, Paris, Athens, Moscow and Stockholm. Beside London hub, ISP Group has three other hub branches in Hong Kong, New York and Dubai.
