More favourable savings in Banca Intesa

For the purpose of stimulating citizens to save money, Banca Intesa has increased interest rates on all time-deposited euro currency deposits up to 30%. These stimulating measures included increase of interest for all categories of foreign currency savings, both regarding time-deposit period and amount of savings deposit. Both local and foreign natural entities have a possibility to save money under these conditions.
Interest rate amount for time-deposited foreign currency savings is between three percent for money deposited on one-month period and 6.30% for deposits over 50.000 EUR time-deposited on 36 months. Particularly favourable savings conditions refer to the deposits of average amount and time-deposit period, which in our conditions implies a deposit up to 5.000 EUR deposited on a shorter period, i.e. 3, 6, 12 months, up to two years, in which case interest rates amount even up to 5,4%.
According to the savings volume Banca Intesa is among leaders in domestic market, with total deposits in the amount of 600 million euro and market share of 13%. From the beginning of this year until the end of August, total deposits increased for 29.4% in comparison with the end of the last year.
