Together with the Faculty of Economics in Subotica, Department of the University in Novi Sad, Banca Intesa signed a Protocol on Cooperation whose goal is to connect young economists, future economics experts, with the banking sector, intensify the application of academic achievements in the Bank's operations, joint organization of scientific research and projects, as well as numerous other forms of cooperation.
The Protocol on Cooperation was signed by Prof. Dr Aleksandar Grubor, dean of the Faculty of Economics in Subotica, University of Novi Sad, and Ana Minić, Head of Training and Development Department at Banca Intesa.
The implementation of the Protocol on Cooperation, among other things, includes the organization and implementation of educational events, scientific research, internships, and experts of Banca Intesa acting as lecturers at the Faculty of Economics in Subotica, as well as hiring highly educated and professional personnel of the Faculty for the needs of the Bank.
Thanks to the cooperation of Banca Intesa with the Faculty of Economics in Subotica, University of Novi Sad, started in 2017, the students of final years and recent graduates have for three years now been enrolling in internships within the various Departments of the Business Support and Payment Department of Banca Intesa. The plan is also to hire graduates in the Bank's branch offices within the Regional Center Novi Sad, as well as to train students through various activities of Banca Intesa in the field of digital banking.
