Draginja Djuric takes helm of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce’s banking board

President of Banca Intesa Executive Board Draginja Djuric has been appointed as president of the newly-established banking board of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

According to Serbian Chamber of Commerce President Marko Cadez, the forming of the banking board, as well as the insurance board is especially important due to the great impact that the financial sector has on economic trends and the development of the Serbian economy.

“Through the work of this board we will do all we can to provide full support for the further development of the economy“, Draginja Djuric said at the constitutive session of the board.

The two boards comprise representatives of the 15 most important banks and 15 largest insurance companies in Serbia.

Draginja Djuric has been serving as President of Banca Intesa Executive Board since 2005. She is also a member of the Assembly of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, the Management Board of the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce and the Presidency of the Association of Serbian Economists. Furthermore, Draginja Djuric is the President of the Business Council of Italy and Serbia, a member of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences’ Council and of the Association of Corporate Directors of Serbia, as well as the representative of Banca Intesa in the American Chamber of Commerce and the Foreign Investors Council.
