INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION FOR Banca Intesa Beograd

Banca Intesa Beograd received a significant international recognition for its outstanding business activities on the home market.
The prestigious Financial Times Group Magazine The Banker has awarded Banca Intesa Beograd AD Beograd with the Bank of the Year in Serbia and Montenegro 2004 award, following the excellent financial results in 2003/2004. The prize was awarded to the Director General of Banca Intesa Beograd, Mrs. Draginja Đurić at the ceremony held in London on September 7th 2004.
On that occasion Draginja Đurić said:

This prestigious award in the banking circles promotes our country on the best possible way worldwide and makes Banca Intesa Beograd recognized in the world of business, especially when it comes from the most respected authorities in the world of banking, as The Banker is, and in a very tough competition.

This is the second international recognition that Banca Intesa Beograd received this year. We would like to remind that 3 months ago the financial magazine Finance Central Europe analysing the activities of 100 banks in the region of south-east Europe, appraised Banca Intesa Beograd to be the best medium size bank in South East Europe, the best bank in Serbia & Montenegro, the best bank in Serbia & Montenegro by gross profit and by ROE (Return on Equity) in 2004.
The Director General of Banca Intesa Beograd, Mrs. Draginja Đurić, has been declared the Banker of the Year in Serbia & Montenegro.
