Banca Intesa and eGovernment link apps to enable availability of all electronic services of public administration
Minister of Information and Telecommunications Mihailo Jovanović, Deputy Director of the Office for IT and eGovernment Zoran Mišić and President of Banca Intesa Executive Board Darko Popović attended today the presentation of Banca Intesa's new service that enables easy connection with eGovernment through its applications for mobile and electronic banking and the availability of all public administration services without going to the counters.
Banca Intesa is the first bank in the Serbian market that, in cooperation with the Office for IT and eGovernment, enabled tigital issuance of parameters for the activation of the ConsenstID mobile application, which enables citizens to become eCitizens, i.e. to access the eGovernment portal with the highest level of reliability, generate a qualified electronic certificate in the cloud, as well as use all services of eGovernment and other state portals.
Through Banca Intesa's mobile and electronic banking applications, the bank's clients can now become eCitizens and issue parameters and a qualified electronic certificate in the cloud to themselves at any time, without going to the bank or to the counters of any of the registration bodies for issuing ConsentID activation parameters. The certificate enables them sto use qualified electronic signature at a distance as a substitute for a handwritten signature in a more simple manner, as well as to perform any of the electronic services that the state of Serbia offers to citizens and businesses.

At the end of last year, Banca Intesa, in cooperation with the Office for IT and eGovernment, enabled clients to obtain the parameters for starting the ConsentID application in its branches. So far, the bank has issued over 1,200 parameters in this way, with the expectation that thanks to digital channels, the number of issuances will be increased several times in the coming period.
