IMPORTANT NOTICE
There are more and more fraud attempts that are spreading through social networks and messaging applications (Instagram, Telegram, Viber and others), and their goal is to misuse citizens' funds and user accounts for mobile and electronic banking.
Bank customers are offered alleged "jobs" that require them to perform the following activities through their mobile and e-banking accounts:
- Receiving payments from several natural persons;
- Transfer of funds to third parties;
- Intermediation in cryptocurrency trading.
Such "jobs" are presented as an easy way to earn in the form of a percentage of completed transactions, but in reality they can lead to serious consequences:
- Blocking of accounts, accounts and funds;
- Financial losses and damage to reputation.
THAT'S WHY WE WARN YOU THAT:
- Do not use your user account for transactions on behalf of third parties, regardless of the promised earnings or acquaintance with the person;
- Do not engage in transactions for which you do not know the exact purpose and origin of the funds;
- Do not allow your account to be used as a so-called "money mule" – an intermediary for the transfer of money on behalf of third parties;
- Suspicious payments from a large number of different individuals may indicate a fraudulent scheme;
- Earnings cannot come from unknown natural persons – each inflow must have a clear and legal origin;
- Buying and selling cryptocurrencies can only be done through registered and licensed intermediaries, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BANK'S CLIENTS
Customers are fully responsible for all transactions they make through their accounts. That is why it is necessary that before each transaction they are completely sure of its legality, purpose and identity of the other party.
Participating in transactions that later prove to be part of a fraudulent scheme does not absolve the client from liability.
If you suspect that you are part of such a scenario – immediately contact the nearest branch or Contact Center of the Bank.
