Important notice: An email message with a malicious attachment
We have been informed that several of our clients have received an e-mail message with a malicious attachment, allegedly sent by Banca Intesa.
E-mails of this type have so far had in the "subject" field: Foreign exchange inflow notification: EUR 16936.00
The mentioned e-mail contains an attachment with malicious content.
For the safety of your computer and data, please do not open the attachment, nor follow the instructions in the e-mail message, and delete the e-mail immediately.
The bank has undertaken all activities in order to prevent the blocking of these malicious e-mails to our clients.
Please note that Banca Intesa sends this type of notification to clients with a digital signature, which enables verification of the sender's identity even before opening the e-mail.
