Notice on financial assistance from the Republic of Serbia for children up to 16 years of age

In accordance with the Law on the temporary register of mothers and other persons to whom financial assistance is paid (hereinafter: the Law), Banca Intesa AD Beograd (hereinafter: the Bank) will enable the receipt of financial assistance for children up to the age of 16, who were born on 21.11.2006. on or after this date, to the payment accounts of the applicant in BIB.

The payment is made to the applicant's account, in accordance with the Law, which defines that the right to payment of this type of assistance is granted to the mother of the child for whom financial assistance is paid, and exceptionally the father, guardian or adoptive parent of the child for whom financial assistance is paid, under the conditions The law prescribes, and the check is carried out by the Ministry of Finance in cooperation with the Ministry of State Administration and Local Self-Government, as well as the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Natural persons apply for this financial assistance in the period from 08/20/2023. year until 20.09.2023. year electronically, through the Portal of the Treasury Administration.

Cash assistance for children up to 16 years of age (children born on or after 21.11.2006) in the amount of 10,000.00 dinars for each child will be paid by the Ministry of Finance - Treasury Administration starting from 25.09.2023. year citizens of the Republic of Serbia, with the aim of mitigating the consequences of the crisis caused by disturbances on the world market and a one-time incentive to improve the financial conditions of the persons to whom the Law applies, including clients who, when submitting the application, declared to receive financial aid funds through the Bank.

In the case of users who have a dinar payment account with the Bank (clients of the Bank), the funds will be paid into that payment account, about which the clients will be informed in the agreed manner (SMS, e-mail, mail). Information on the payment of funds will be available to the Bank's clients through electronic banking. Clients of the Bank can dispose of funds in the usual way (eg payment by payment card, ATM withdrawal, transfer via electronic banking, etc.).

Clients of the Bank who applied for financial assistance by entering data from a new ID card, which replaced the personal document attached when opening a payment account in the Bank, will be able to dispose of their funds without hindrance, with the obligation to update their personal information during the next visit to the Bank's branch data.

Users who do not have a payment account in the Bank will be opened a special payment account for the payment of financial aid, and information about that payment account and payment can be obtained electronically, through the Portal of the Ministry of Finance - Treasury Administration. The Bank will not charge costs for opening or maintaining special dedicated accounts, and funds can be withdrawn after payment to the account in any branch of the Bank, with a valid ID card.
