New arrangement between Banca Intesa and the Guarantee Fund of AP Vojvodina

Funds from this credit line will be invested in the form of a long-term loan to registered owners of agricultural farms, entrepreneurs and to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises under conditions that are specified by the regulation.

Cooperation between Banca Intesa and the Guarantee Fund of AP Vojvodina dates back to 2006 and includes a series of credit arrangements for the financing of registered agricultural farms and women's entrepreneurship on the territory of Vojvodina within which the Bank has so far realised over 15 million EUR worth loans.

The signing of the loan arrangement for the procurement of new energy efficient equipment and equipment necessary for the utilisation of renewable sources of energy presents thus another confirmation of Banca Intesa's commitment to promote actively the principles of sustainability and the latest in a series of activities that it implements in partnership with the Guarantee Fund of AP Vojvodina.

The funding of the improvement of energy efficiency and the utilisation of renewable sources of energy presents an important part of Banca Intesa's total loan activities and this is confirmed by the fact that the Bank has invested 28 million EUR worth loans for these purposes so far, either independently or in cooperation with international financial institutions, to both retail and corporate sector.
