The construction of largest shopping mall in the Balkans shall be credited by banks from the Intesa Group

Today the company Delta M and three banks within the banking group Intesa signed the Agreement on crediting the building of Delta`s first shopping mall Delta City 67.
The loan in the amount of 51,78 million euro has been jointly provided by Banca Intesa Beograd, Privredna banka Zagreb and Všeobecna uverova banka from Slovakia and it is one of the largest syndicated loans ever approved in Serbia.
The Agreement was signed in the business premises of Delta Holding by the Director General of the Delta M Group, Mrs Ivana Veselinović, Mrs. Draginja Đurić, President of the Executive Board of Banca Intesa ad Beograd, Mr. Silvio Pedrazzi, Deputy President of the Executive Board of Banca Intesa ad Beograd, Mr. Božo Prka, CEO of Privredna banka Zagreb and Mr. Thomas Spurny, CEO of Všeobecna Uverova Bank.
The credit line is intended for the construction of the shopping mall Delta City 67 in Block 67 in New Belgrade. This shopping mall shall be the largest in the Balkans and cover an area of 85.000 m2. It shall have a hypermarket, more than 130 shops, an entertaining part which shall comprise a multiplex cinema with six movie theatres, a bowling alley, restaurants and cafés, as well as a parking for more than 1.200 cars.
Delta City 67 shall be opened in September 2007.
Thanks to the support of the parent group Intesa, fifth in Europe by size, from this year forth Banca Intesa Beograd has taken the advantage of an opportunity to offer long-term financing of investment projects.
