Intesa Sanpaolo: Ignacio Jaquotot appointed as new Head of the International Subsidiary Banks Division

Intesa Sanpaolo announces that Ignacio Jaquotot assumes responsibility for the Group’s International Subsidiary Banks Division.

Born in Zaragoza (Spain), Jaquotot graduated from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid and has held important positions within the Intesa Sanpaolo Group which have enabled him to gain a depth of professional experience. Most recently, he held the position of CEO of VUB Banka, the Slovak subsidiary with more than 200 branches, 32 corporate branches and a branch in the Czech Republic. Since 1984, Jaquotot has held various positions both in Europe and South America, first assuming responsibility for the headquarters in Barcelona and Madrid, and subsequently heading the Group’s activities in Latin America with the role of General Manager in Uruguay, Chile and Paraguay.
