Special award from the Belgrade Marathon

On behalf of Banca Intesa, Mrs. Draginja Đurić, President of the Executive Board of the Bank,  received Fred Libou trophy and on that occasion pointed out that the Marathon is a sports manifestation which, for its large number of participants, for the fact that speed, physical endurance and mental strength lead to the victory, for the quantity of originating energy which, at least for few days, transforms Belgrade into the centre of sports spirit and optimism, in the best way reflects the values appraised in Banca Intesa.

Mrs. Draginja Đurić thanked to the organizers for the award and wished that Banca Intesa would remain a permanent, cultural, and tourist mark of Belgrade and Serbia.

Apart from Banca Intesa, the trophy, named after worldwide famous athlete and founder of the New York Marathon, Fred Libou, was awarded to the City of Belgrade, Republic of Serbia, Soko Štark, Delta sport and Athletic Federation of Serbia.

Belgrade Banca Intesa Marathon this year will celebrate its twentieth anniversary in the streets of Belgrade on April 21st.
