Announced winner of the „Blic Entrepreneur 2011“ contest

Within the framework of the campaign named „Blic Entrepreneur 2011“, implemented by the Blic daily and Banca Intesa for the fifth year in a row, Dragan Ćirić, owner of D-Company from Babušnica, which manufactures car components, has been named the best entrepreneur in Serbia, in the category of small and medium-sized enterprises. The award was presented to the most successful entrepreneur by Minister of Economy and Regional Development in the Serbian Government, Nebojša Ćirić, and Head of the Serbia Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) Božidar Laganin, whereas Marco Capellini, Deputy CEO of Banca Intesa, and Velimir Simonović, editor-in-chief of the Blic daily, presented a Banca Intesa cheque for EUR 30,000 to the winner. According to the rules of the contest, the award can be used exclusively for the improvement of current operations or investment in new business projects.

The award was presented following the decision by jury experts composed of SIEPA Director and jury president in the selection of “Blic Entrepreneur 2011” Božidar Laganin, Minister of Economy and Regional Development Nebojša Ćirić, Banca Intesa Deputy CEO Marko Capellini, State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance Miodrag Đidić, Manager of National Employment Service Dejan Jovanović, Aleksandar Gračanac from Serbian Chamber of Commerce and “Blic” daily journalist Suzana Lakić.
