Under the sponsorship of Banca Intesa Beograd, and thanks to the successful cooperation with football club AC Milan, Milan Park came to Belgrade for the first time. In this biggest entertainment football park in the world, great number of children enjoyed with their parents playing and improving their football skills.
On the surface of about 4.000 square meters, the youngest football fans tried their skills in ten different football games, and Milan Park – Milan Cup, football tournament for three age groups, was organized as well. During their stay the children enjoyed taking pictures with the Champions League cup and signed sports jerseys of their favourite AC Milan players, and many of them had an opportunity to learn some football tricks from Daniele Massaro, famous player of this successful football club. Two DJs and about twenty animators were there to make sure that visitors enjoyed the event, and great atmosphere was also created thanks to Inspektor Blaža who was a program presenter. Children were particularly attracted by performance of the most famous freestyler (juggler) in the world, Billy Wingrove, who in a two-hour show demonstrated his acrobatics with ball.
Humanitarian auction
On the occasion of the first visit of Milan Park in Belgrade, in cooperation with AC Milan Banca Intesa organized also a humanitarian auction with signed sports jerseys and football balls of AC Milan. Two football balls signed by the first-team players from the previous and this season were sold in the auction, as well as five signed sports jerseys (Kaka, Ronaldo, Maldini, Nesta and Gatuso). All funds collected through the auction will be donated for construction of children’s playground within the complex of Safe Houses in Rakovica.
