Banca Intesa celebrated the successful business year

Banca Intesa, on the great party hosted in the Belgrade Expo center, in the presence of hundred of guests, celebrated the very successful business year, the year of becoming the leading bank in Serbia. On this winning gathering with numerous clients, business partners, media representatives and friends both from the business and public life, in a cheerful holiday atmosphere, it was toasted in the honour of the forthcoming year that Banca Intesa enters as a greater and stronger bank.

Banca Intesa, on the great party hosted in the Belgrade Expo center, in the presence of hundred of guests, celebrated the very successful business year, the year of becoming the leading bank in Serbia. On this winning gathering with numerous clients, business partners, media representatives and friends both from the business and public life, in a cheerful holiday atmosphere, it was toasted in the honour of the forthcoming year that Banca Intesa enters as a greater and stronger bank. In her speech, Ms Draginja Đurić, the President of the Executive Board of Banca Intesa, referred to the achieved results during the previous year when  Banca Intesa surpassed the planned goals and with more than million of clients, 1.2 billion EUR of placements and 2.5 billion EUR of assets, and took up the leading position in the sector of domestic banking.

‘’I am proud to say that during the year of 2007, Banca Intesa recorded the exceptional result and, according to the most significant criteria in terms of successful operating,  became the number one Bank in Serbia. With the equal success, we brought to the end the merging of Panonska banka and therefore, we enter the next year as greater and stronger bank. It is my hope that in 2008 we will reconfirm our leading position, not only in figures, but also by providing even better offer and the service of higher quality, as well as more active participation in the economy and social life of the country.‘’ stated  Ms. Draginja Đurić.

The celebrating atmosphere was rounded off with the performance of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, then Marija Šerifović , this year’s winner of the Eurosong contest, and  her five back vocals as well as with the ballet ensemble performance of the Pozorište na Terazijama.
