Owing to the long-term cooperation between Banca Intesa and the football club AC Milan, as well as to the great success of the previous two Milan Junior Camps held in Belgrade, approximately 250 boys aged from 7 to 16, will have the opportunity to discover the secrets of the ‘’most important unimportant thing in the world’’ learning from the distinguished coaches of AC Milan. The third Milan Junior Camp in turn will be held in Novi Sad in the period from June 30 until July 03, and in Niš on July 5, and owing to the sponsorships of Banca Intesa, Pepsi and Imlek, the participation in the camp is, for the first time, free of charge. As it has been announced at the press conference held in the garden of the restaurant ‘’Jevrem’’, interested boys will be registered only via web site of Banca Intesa www.bancaintesabeograd.com starting from May 20 until June 15.
Silvio Pedrazzi, the Deputy President of Banca Intesa highlighted that the organization of Milan Junior Camp 2008 in Serbia for the third time, upon the initiative of Banca Intesa, is the additional proof in favour of the Bank commitment to support development and popularization of sport as a healthy way of life among the young ones.
‘’ Therefore, Banca Intesa, put effort for young talented football players from Serbia to have the opportunity to register for free vouchers for participation in the camp and thereby acquaint themselves with the philosophy and work methodology of the one of the biggest an the most trophy European and world football clubs’’, emphasized Mr. Pedrazzi.
He reminded that Banca Intesa strives to contribute to resolving key problems in the fields related to development, safety and healthcare protection of the young ones and in that respect, starting from the year of 2003, the Bank supports humanitarian organization ‘’Naša Srbija’’. Even this year, Banca Intesa enabled for 20 boys, who lost one or both parents during the previous wars, to spend one day with the other boys in the camp.
The special guest of Banca Intesa was Franco Baresi, the most successful player in the club history, which is proven by the fact that the number 6, that Baresi wore on his dress, is forever withdrawn from the use after the completion of his playing career. Presently, Baresi has been training junior AC Milan team and, at the same time, promoting club activities aimed at young generations - Milan Junior Camp and Milan Park.
