Intesa Sanpaolo announces that today S&P Global Ratings raised the Bank’s long-term rating to ‘BBB’ (from ‘BBB-’) and its short-term rating to ‘A-2’ (from ‘A-3’), with outlook stable.
The rating action follows the upgrade of Italy’s sovereign ratings, raised to ‘BBB/A-2’ with outlook stable, announced by S&P Global Ratings on 27 October 2017.
