Best Bank in Serbia

International financial magazine Global Finance presented Banca Intesa with the “The Best Bank in Serbia” in 2015 award at a ceremony held in Lima, the capital of Peru, during the annual meeting of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. The prestigious award was handed as part of traditional contest for “The World’s Best Banks” that included 143 countries and 8 regions this year. In their decision making process, Global Finance editors were guided by a range of criteria, including business growth and development, innovative products, as well as by input from analysts, consultants, rating agencies and corporate executives.

“This renowned award recognises Banca Intesa’s success and determination to consistently implement a strategy that centres on business stability and long-term sustainability based on qualitative growth, innovativeness and operational efficiency despite a difficult business environment, which is why we are especially proud of this recognition. In the period ahead, we will continue to focus on the needs and satisfaction of our clients through the offer of modern products and the highest quality service, along with constant investment in technological upgrades and new distribution channels in efforts to contribute to the development of the economy and to the improvement of the citizens’ quality of life”, President of Banca Intesa Executive Board Draginja Đurić said.

In addition to “The Best Bank in Serbia” award, Intesa Sanpaolo, the parent group of Banca Intesa, also won the recognition as “The Best Bank in Italy”.
