Banca Intesa Beograd ON THE INTERNATIONAL FAIR OF BANKING, EQUIPMENT, SERVICES AND INSURANCE

Banca Intesa Beograd has participated on the International Fair of Banking, Equipment, Services and Insurance BANK EXPO in Belgrade, from March 12 – 16, 2004. Therefore, the leading bank on the market supported the Banking Fair which was held for the first time in Belgrade, manifestation that popularise banking sector to clients, especially to citizens as a segment to which we intensify our business activities.That was also the chance for Banca Intesa Beograd to remind the visitors and media of its leading position and extra-ordinary results of business activities, since the last year was the most successful business year since the Bank’s establishing and that all planned figures have been manifold exceeded. The results for the first several months this year show the same trend of increase. Rich offer of banking services aimed to citizens and companies, Banca Intesa Beograd constantly renews following world trends, so the fair presentation was the chance to promote new products and services. Therefore, on the Opening day of the Fair, Banca Intesa Beograd made a presentation and press conference, showing newest services and products for citizens concerning On-Line service and payment cards. New services in E-banking have been presented by Milos Kilibarda – Assistant Executive Manager, I.T. Department, and concerning payment cards, especially new Maestro Pre-Paid Card, Ivan Jaukovic – Chief Officer of User’s Services and Operational Processing. Presentation made big press and competition interest. It was excellent visited and made a great space in the press. For successful promotional presentation on the Fair, Banca Intesa Beograd was awarded by Association of the Economic Advertisers of Serbia. The biggest interest, on the desk of Banca Intesa Beograd, was towards credits, payment cards and e-banking. Concerning e-banking i.e. On-Line service for citizens, Banca Intesa Beograd introduce systematic innovation; that’s the possibility for users to manage their accounts in the Bank, transferring the money from one account to the other, as well as, to electronically pay their bills, without coming to the Bank’s offices. This service will be operational as of April 5th. Banca Intesa Beograd has issued more than 120.000 payment cards and it has the most developed net of 4.500 POS terminals and 70 ATMs. Innovation in this department is recent Maestro Pre-Paid Card which is mostly appointed to students and youth but also to all other users not having regular income.
