Strategic partnership and new co-branded card

Air Serbia, the national carrier, and Banca Intesa, part of the international banking group Intesa Sanpaolo, have signed a Letter of Intentions today, marking the beginning of their cooperation in issuing a co-branded card for all users of Air Serbia’s future loyalty programme.

The national carrier’s new loyalty programme will set new standards in rewarding passenger loyalty, offering them privileges and a personalised experience.

“We are immensely pleased to start a new chapter in our strategic partnership with Air Serbia by signing the Letter of Intentions. Banca Intesa, as the market leader, serving 1.5 million clients, in partnership with Air Serbia, will soon launch co-branded Visa debit and credit cards intended for existing and future clients who wish to obtain additional benefits with every trip. The bank will enable the holders of these unique payment cards to access Air Serbia’s loyalty programme with additional premium benefits, which are achieved by collecting points from shopping at a large number of points of sale in Serbia. In this way, every transaction will get an additional dimension, turning everyday shopping into a new opportunity for travel,” said Darko Popović, CEO of Banca Intesa.

The signing of the Letter of Intentions with Banca Intesa relies on the already established cooperation between Air Serbia and VISA. By integrating the expertise of the banking sector, global payment network, and aviation industry, passengers are guaranteed not only security but also the highest level of service digitalisation, with a series of additional and unique benefits, from exclusive rewards, faster collection of points, and personalised offers, to improved user experience in every phase of travel.
