"I take great pride in being part of an era that empowers us to shape strategy through the active exchange of ideas, insight, and energy. It was both an honor and a privilege to host Intesa Sanpaolo’s International Banks Division Roadshow 2026 in Belgrade, marking an important step forward in advancing the Business Plan 2026–2029 — building upon the solid foundation established by the Group’s record-breaking achievements in 2025. An organization’s capacity to consistently deliver results, irrespective of external challenges, through agility and thoughtful adaptation, is what distinguishes true excellence and elevates it above its peers," said Darko Popovic, president of the Executive Board at Banca Intesa.
More than 150 colleagues from across Serbia attended the event, gaining valuable insights into how local teams will align with the Group’s global objectives. Discussions emphasized the integration of different business segments and process optimization, continuous investments in people and skills, and the importance of synergy and mutual trust to ensure the effective implementation of strategic initiatives across the Group.
The program concluded with a special awards ceremony, recognizing outstanding local achievements – from the most efficient branch teams, to exceptional digital practices, and innovative solutions in financing of small and medium-sized enterprises as well as the public sector.
