Renowned international financial magazine Global Finance has named Banca Intesa, a member of international banking group Intesa Sanpaolo, the best trade finance provider in Serbia for 2026.

This award, which represents one of the most relevant global standards of excellence in trade finance, is granted to banks in nearly 100 markets worldwide that integrate top-tier service, technology, and risk management into this area of business. The selection criteria for the most successful banks included transaction volumes, customer service, price competitiveness, and the application of innovative technologies.

Banca Intesa records continuous growth in trade finance business volume and number of transactions, with an increase of 14 percent in the volume of executed letters of credit and bank guarantees at the end of 2025 compared to the end of the previous year.
