Food is not waste. Neither is our planet.

There are many hungry people in the world, yet a large amount of food produced is wasted. The problem of surplus food is present all over the world, especially in developing countries.

As many as 1.4 million hectares of land are used for food that will never be eaten, and in the world every year more than 17% of food becomes garbage.

By reducing the amount of wasted food, we can help those who struggle for basic living conditions, but also contribute to a sustainable future and the preservation of our planet.

Consumption of resources, such as energy and water, occurs in the processes of food production, processing, packaging, storage and transportation. Therefore, reducing the amount of wasted food requires the efforts of the entire food chain - from producers to consumers.

International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste is celebrated around the world on September 29, with the aim of reducing the huge amount of food waste on a global scale.

As a company that operates respecting ESG principles and strives to contribute to positive changes in our environment, we want to support this initiative.
