VIRTUS Award for The Place I Love
Banca Intesa has won the VIRTUS award for supporting the most innovative project - corporate social responsibility project the Place I Love. The Bank has been awarded with the recognition VIRTUS by the Balkan Community Initiatives Fund which organises this competition with financial support of American Agency for International Development (USAID) and in partnership with Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC) and the Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit of the Government of Republic of Serbia (SIPRU).

Banca Intesa launched the project the Place I Love in mid-2011 in order to raise the awareness of the public of the rich cultural and historical heritage of Serbia, the need of its preservation, but it also restored the three localities the citizens chose in the contest that followed the project.
VIRTUS awards for corporate philanthropy have been awarded since 2007 to companies and enterprises that supported the non-profit activities or organizations for public good and interest in the most effective, long lasting and efficient way.
