Promotion of the agricultural sector
Banca Intesa started a project called IntesaFarmer of the Year with the aim of promoting agriculture as extremely important segments for economic development of the country. Bank will reward the most successful farmers in four categories – Intesa grains farmer, Intesa vegetable farmer, Intesa fruit farmer and Intesa livestock farmer. The best candidate according to the opinion of the expert committee will get a trip to Germany visiting the international agricultural fair in Berlin which will be held in January 2014.

Intermezzo cash loan
Banca Intesa has included Intermezzo cash loan in its offer, a new model of cash loan which offers users the possibility to delay payment of monthly instalment up to five times during the repayment period, as a unique incentive on the domestic market. Aside from that, the Intermezzo loan also brings insurance in case of job loss.

Banca Intesa the Best Corporate Brand in the Category of Finance and Insurance
Banca Intesa has won the award “Corporate Superbrands Serbia 2012-2013“ for the best corporate brand in the category of finance and insurance. The Bank has won the corporate superbrand status on the basis of the opinion of the expert council consisting of seventeen members, distinguished representatives of the local sector of the economy and the public opinion survey. Maja Kolar, Head of the Marketing and Communications Department, received the award in the name of Banca Intesa.

Even stronger market position in all card operations segments
During 2012, Banca Intesa increased the number of issued payment cards by 8.9%, thus additionally strengthening its position as the leading bank in the Serbian market in the card operations segment with a total of 1.26 million cards issued, of which 895,000 are debit cards, 319,000 credit cards and 47,000 business cards. In the total portfolio of the Bank's payment cards, the most common are MasterCard and Visa cards with a share of nearly 89%, while the remainder of 11% are American Express and DinaCard brands.

Winners of “Prove yourself 100%“ contest most successful in Italy as well
Ana Rakita and Boban Bisercic, winners of Banca Intesa “Prove yourself 100%“ contest in implementation segment achieved the best result also in the international phase of the contest in Italy organised by Intesa Sanpaolo banking group. Team from Serbia won in the segment of implementation for submitting a project dubbed “From (un)satisfied clients to active brand ambassadors“ while the most successful in innovation category was a team from Egypt, with the project „Innovative ATMs“. New Intesa Sanpaolo branch opens in Warsaw
As of the 1st of March Intesa Sanpaolo’s branch in Warsaw began its activity, substituting the Management Office, open since 1997. The Group thus strengthens its presence in Poland through the consolidation of its international network – which sees the opening of new branches and the reinforcement of existing structures – in order to support Italian companies operating abroad (both SMEs and larger corporates), favour greater interaction with local and international target clients and support foreign trade between the two counties.

Banca Intesa has started granting subsidized liquidity and working assets loans intended for the entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises as a part of the Serbian Government program this year. In only seven days, the Bank has received more than 1,200 applications for this type of loan.

VIRTUS Award for The Place I Love

Banca Intesa and European Investment Bank have signed the Agreement on the New Credit Line
Banca Intesa has signed the agreement with the European Investment Bank on the new credit line in the value of 30 million euros, intended for credit financing of business entities. The loans from the credit line will be placed in the form of investment loans and loans for durable working assets for small, medium-sized and large enterprises. The bank will approve loans in the maximum amount of up to 12.5 million euros, with the repayment term of up 10 years, and the filing of loan applications has started today.

Banca Intesa Reconstructed the Ramparts of Novi Pazar
Banca Intesa finished the reconstruction of City Ramparts in Novi Pazar, one of the three locations with the highest number of citizens’ votes on the public contest organized within the corporate social responsibility project “The Place I Love“. The Bank financed the restoration and conservation works initiated in mid-August in their entirety in the amount of 10 million dinars, and they have been performed on the basis of the project of the Republic Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Monuments, with expert supervision of this body.

€30 Million for SME Financing
Banca Intesa has insured a new €30 million five-year senior loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), intended for its SME clients. Funds from this credit line are approved to the Bank’s clients as revolving loans and working assets loans, investment loans with maximum repayment term of up to five years and the grace period of up to a year.

Loans for Small Enterprises Energy Efficiency Improvement
As of today, Banca Intesa is offering long term loans for improving energy efficiency to small business clients. Long term loans for the improvement of energy efficiency are placed in the maximum amount of up to EUR 25,000, in dinar equivalent value, with repayment term of up to 60 months, and the interest rate is calculated as the sum of six-month EURIBOR and 9-percent interest annually. As a special benefit, Banca Intesa approves grace period in the duration of up to 6 months and does not require additional collaterals for placements in the amount of up to EUR 10,000.
